USPTO Denies CPI’s Challenge to Gemalto’s EMV Payment Card Patents

Gemalto announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has denied CPI challenges to validity of several claims of Gemalto’s US Patent No. 5,944,833 widely used in protecting contact and contactless EMV chip card security.
